"We believe every child deserves a chance to achieve their highest potential and succeed in life"
At The Colourful Mind, we want to create a dynamic group environment for more effective learning with the aim of providing comprehensive therapy services to families.
What we believe
Every child deserves a chance to achieve their highest potential and succeed in life. For children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, communication issues and developmental delays, more specialized help is required in their education.
As part of our integrated approach toward recovery, our therapists apply the principles and methods based on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to develop individualized educational plans for each child. An experienced team of Consultants, Case Managers, Senior Behaviour Therapists and Behaviour Therapists will then work hand-in-hand with parents to achieve lasting educational and behavioural breakthroughs.
We believe that every child has potential to learn and grow at his or her own pace! Our one-on-one Behaviour Therapy , using ABA intervention, focuses on helping the child regulate his or her behaviour and develop independent skills.
Our social skills group focuses on a play based approach to work on social and communication skills. Every child will have a carefully tailored program with target skills to work on during the group.
A collaboration between The Colourful Mind & Bright Beginnings Learning Centre in creating an integrated preschool programme for children with special needs in a mainstream school.
The Like our individual therapy, our Elementary Class is also based on the principles of ABA. This class aims to help children who have entered the mainstream primary schools but are still adjusting to the big change.
Our After School Club is a safe haven where the children come to after school to hang out. They will also be supervised by our after school club teacher to do their homework.
Like our individual therapy, our Shadow Service is also based on the principles of ABA, focuses on helping the child regulate his or her behaviour and develop independent skills in his or her mainstream school.
